Rebel Squad: Fenn and the Boys
shnar A very versatile squad, I present Fenn and The Boys:

- 9: Fenn Signis
- 9: Rebel Troopers (Elite)
- 9: Rebel Troopers (Elite)
- 6: Rebel Troopers
- 6: Rebel Troopers

Total: 39

For the Command Deck, I'm still experimenting with. But I've found that the best cards to take are the ones that are usable by Troopers. I only take Fenn's special card, and no Leader cards, since Fenn is the only Leader and if he dies, then those cards are wasted. But if you focus on cards that affect Troopers, every card in the deck can be used. It works fantastic.

This group has incredible Trooper synergy. Almost all of the command cards are usable on everyone in the group. There are a lot of figures to command (13 in total) which gives you many actions for whatever the skirmish goals are. Often, I'll give priority to the other player so I can move out slowly, allowing my Elite Troopers to Get Into Place and so they're focused for the first engagement. Fenn's special ability can come into play quite handily, especially in conjunction with certain Command Cards, like To The Limit. You can potentially have a trooper shooting 3 times in one turn like that. Getting a second or third attack off can be key in a skirmish.

The few times I've played with this squad, I've won handily. I'm looking forward to trying more battles with this squad.

urchin Why not drop one of the rebel trooper elite and use the remaining 10 points for two rebel sab's? I dont think that your synergy suffers massively with the amount of troopers remaining.

There's not very much chatter on here?

shnar The real synergy comes from the Command Cards. Stacking the Command Cards with powerful Trooper cards gives this squad its edge. Mixing in Sabs or Luke (another idea is to exchange an Elite for Luke) means mixing in different Command cards, and you lose a lot of its flexibility.

Granted, I haven't field tested this squad in a tournament. The World's Meta had a *lot* of Royal Guards, to the point I wouldn't be surprised if a nerf came out. That 4x4 Squad (4 Royal Guards, 4 Commanders) is almost unbeatable.

P.S. Yeah, until I get a few more features done on the site, I don't see many people coming. I've just been so damn busy RL, features on the site have been slow in coming.
